Job summary

EMPLOYERS, a dynamic workers' compensation insurer, seeks a Territory Field Sales Manager for Southern California. You will cultivate strong relationships with insurance agents, act as the Work Comp expert, and drive sales aligned with underwriting and financial goals.

You will collaborate with underwriting, loss control and claims, manage producer development, and travel within the territory to grow premium and new business opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Five years of insurance and/or sales experience.
• Ability to work with limited direction.
• Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with insurance agents in Southern CA.
• Lead producer management processes and align with underwriting goals.
• Monitor market for new products and opportunities.
• Develop education and training programs for customers and internal teams.
• Complete annual producer profiles and action plans.
• Maximize usage of online systems and services.
• Conduct agency calls to maximize production.
• Prospect new appointments and manage agency quality.
• Coordinate with Loss Control, Underwriting and Claims to support production.
• Travel within the territory as needed.
• Produce monthly reports on trends and producer performance.
• Assist in arranging producer/underwriter relationships.
