Job summary

Insight Global is supporting a client in identifying a Fire Apparatus Account Manager to join their team in a full-time, permanent capacity. This individual will drive revenue through the sale of complex fire equipment and manage long-term accounts within a territory south of the Bay Area, staying local to that region.

Though termed remote, this is an outside sales role requiring a consistent presence in the territory and periodic out-of-state travel.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of sales, account management, and/or business development experience.
• Ability to prospect and manage leads.
• Comfortable engaging customers onsite with both technical and mechanical discussions.
• Background in first response (e.g., firefighter) with familiarity of fire engines and emergency equipment.
• Willingness to travel within Southern California and occasionally out-of-state (roughly every 6–8 weeks).

Responsibilities

• Drive revenue through the sale of complex fire equipment and long-term account management.
• Manage a territory south of the Bay Area (San Jose, Monterey, etc.) and be local to that area.
• Maintain product/industry knowledge and ensure accuracy in proposals and communications.
• Occasionally travel out of state and meet customers within the assigned territory.
• Support a longer sales cycle with high-touch client engagement and relationship building.
