Job summary

You Are Accountable is expanding in Southern California and seeks a Manager or Director to drive referral growth. The role scales with experience, and title, scope, and compensation adjust accordingly as you build a network of treatment centers, clinicians, and community partners.

You will work with leadership to own the territory, develop strategic relationships, and remain compliant while expanding the referral footprint in a dense recovery market.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of business development or outreach in behavioral health, addiction treatment, post-acute, or healthcare services.

Responsibilities

• Build and execute a territory plan with the leadership team covering your market's referral sources.
• Focus on treatment centers, clinicians, discharge planners, case managers, admissions teams, clinical leaders, and alumni coordinators.
• Build the clinical side with therapists, addiction medicine and psychiatry practices, primary care, and hospital social workers.
• Add the legal and monitoring side where it earns its place: interventionists, professional monitoring programs, drug courts, DUI and family law attorneys, probation, and parole.
• Engage employers and community accounts like EAPs and safety-sensitive employers.
• Sell consultatively; assess client needs before pitching and maintain honesty to earn referrals.
• Lead in-services and lunch-and-learns; attend coalition meetings and conferences that matter in this market.
• Maintain tight CRM discipline with same-day logging; protect and expand the referral network.
