Job summary

You Are Accountable is expanding in Southern California with a Manager or Director level focus on referral growth. This role reports to the Chief Revenue Officer and centers on building durable referral relationships with treatment centers, clinicians, and community partners.

The position requires 5+ years in behavioral health or healthcare outreach, strong CRM discipline, and the ability to navigate conversations with clinical leaders, attorneys, and families.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of business development or outreach in behavioral health, addiction treatment, post-acute, or healthcare services.
• Real referral relationships in this market, or demonstrated ability to build them quickly elsewhere.
• Ability to talk credibly with a clinical director, attorney, or worried parent at different times.
• CRM discipline with same-day logging.
• Willingness to travel evenings, weekends, and overnight for accounts and events.

Responsibilities

• Build and execute a territory plan with leadership for referral sources.
• Focus on treatment centers, clinicians, discharge planners, and community partners.
• Grow clinical networks including therapists and primary care practices.
• Engage legal and monitoring professionals and relevant attorneys.
• Target employers and community accounts (EAPs, safety-sensitive employers).
• Sell consultatively and qualify referrer needs before pitching; be transparent about fit.
• Run in-services and attend coalitions, conferences, and professional events.
• Keep CRM up to date with activity, opportunities, and market intelligence.
• Share learnings with the outreach team and ensure compliance in referrals.
