Job summary

Slalom is a fiercely human business and technology consulting company delivering outcomes across Snowflake CoE. You will design, build, and optimize data solutions using Snowflake, Python, and modern cloud tools within Agile teams to translate client requirements into scalable data platforms.

As a Snowflake Engineer, Consultant, you will collaborate with clients and teammates, ensure data quality, and contribute to continuous learning while supporting analytics with Power BI or Tableau.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of data engineering with Snowflake development.
• Strong SQL and data modeling skills.
• Experience building batch and streaming pipelines.
• Proficient in Python or similar OO language.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Familiarity with dbt, Airflow, or Dagster.
• Experience with Power BI or Tableau for analytics.
• Strong client-facing communication.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize data solutions using Snowflake and related cloud technologies.
• Build and maintain data pipelines, transformations, and scalable data models.
• Work within Agile delivery teams to implement client data platform solutions.
• Collaborate with clients and teammates to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Develop solutions using SQL, Python, and modern data engineering tools.
• Support data quality, performance tuning, and platform optimization initiatives.
• Contribute to the Snowflake CoE through collaboration, knowledge sharing, and continuous learning.
