Job summary

Slalom is seeking a Snowflake Engineer, Consultant, to design, develop, and optimize data solutions using Snowflake and cloud technologies. You will build data pipelines, transform data, and model data within Agile delivery teams to deliver client data platform solutions.

You'll collaborate with clients to translate business requirements into technical solutions, develop using SQL, Python, and modern data tooling, and contribute to data quality and platform optimization initiatives while

Qualifications

• 5+ years of data engineering experience including Snowflake development.
• Strong SQL and data modeling experience.
• Experience developing batch and/or streaming data pipelines.
• Experience with Python or another OOP language.
• Experience working with cloud providers (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Familiarity with dbt, Airflow, or Dagster.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize data solutions using Snowflake and related cloud technologies.
• Build and maintain data pipelines, transformations, and scalable data models.
• Work within Agile delivery teams to implement client data platform solutions.
• Collaborate with clients to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Develop solutions using SQL, Python, and modern data engineering tools.
