Job summary

Slalom is hiring for a Snowflake Engineer/Consultant to design, develop, and optimize data solutions using Snowflake and cloud technologies. You will build pipelines, models, and transformations, collaborating with Agile teams to deliver client data platform solutions.

The role requires hands-on Snowflake development, strong SQL/data modeling, and experience with Python and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP). Power BI or Tableau experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of data engineering experience including hands-on Snowflake development.
• Strong SQL and data modeling experience.
• Experience developing batch and/or streaming data pipelines.
• Experience with Python or another object-oriented language.
• Experience working with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Familiarity with dbt, Airflow, or Dagster for data transformation/orchestration.
• Experience with Power BI or Tableau for analytics/reporting.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize data solutions using Snowflake and related cloud technologies.
• Build and maintain data pipelines, transformations, and scalable data models.
• Work within Agile delivery teams to implement client data platform solutions.
• Collaborate with clients and teammates to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Develop solutions using SQL, Python, and modern data engineering tools.
• Support data quality, performance tuning, and platform optimization initiatives.
• Contribute to the Snowflake CoE through collaboration and knowledge sharing.
