Job summary

Slalom is seeking a Snowflake Engineer/Consultant to join the Snowflake CoE. You will design, develop, and optimize data solutions using Snowflake and modern cloud technologies within agile delivery teams.

You will translate business requirements into scalable data models and pipelines, using SQL, Python, and tools like dbt, Airflow or Dagster, while supporting analytics with Power BI or Tableau.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of data engineering experience including Snowflake development.
• Strong SQL and data modeling experience.
• Experience developing batch and/or streaming data pipelines.
• Experience with Python or another object‑oriented language.
• Experience working with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Familiarity with dbt, Airflow or Dagster.
• Experience supporting analytics with Power BI or Tableau.
• SnowPro Core Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize data solutions using Snowflake and cloud technologies.
• Build and maintain data pipelines, transformations, and scalable data models.
• Work within Agile delivery teams to implement client data platform solutions.
• Collaborate with clients and teammates to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Develop solutions using SQL, Python, and modern data engineering tools.
• Support data quality, performance tuning, and platform optimization initiatives.
• Contribute to the Snowflake CoE through collaboration and continuous learning.
