The State of South Carolina is seeking an Eligibility Specialist in Greenwood to administer SNAP, TANF, ESAP and SCCAP benefits. The role involves interview-based assessments, eligibility determinations, and processing of applications and renewals in accordance with federal and state laws.

Responsibilities include maintaining confidential case records, handling alerts, and supporting program compliance while protecting client PII. This is a field-based, on-site position in Economic Services.

Competenze

• High School Diploma required.
• Associate Degree or higher may substitute for required program experience.

Mansioni

• Conducts SNAP/TANF quality interviews (phone or in person).
• Processes SNAP/TANF applications and renewals and related ESAP/SCCAP tasks.
• Maintains case records in agency systems with confidentiality and accuracy.
• Identifies and documents overpayments and prepares supporting documents for hearings.
