Job summary

SRCTec, LLC is hiring a SMT Associate Electronics Hardware Technician (2nd Shift, Temporary) to support our fast-paced SMT production and SMT rework operations in Syracuse, NY. Ideal candidates bring hands-on PCB assembly, SMT rework, hand soldering, and IPC Class 2/3 standards.

The role includes soldering, interpreting blueprints, following work instructions, and ensuring safety and quality in a high-tech manufacturing environment. A 10% shift differential applies to 2nd shift.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of PCB assembly experience preferred.
• IPC Class 2/3 soldering experience required.
• Current JSTD001 certification.
• Strong attention to detail and safety.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-level PCA, SMT assembly, and rework tasks.
• Perform hand and machine soldering for SMT and PCA rework.
• Interpret blueprints, schematics, and assembly instructions.
• Access production work instructions via computer systems.
• Support frontend SMT tasks such as component ordering and setup.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Adapt to shifting priorities in a fast-paced SMT environment.
