Job summary

SRCTec, LLC is hiring an SMT Associate Electronics Hardware Technician (1st Shift) to support our SMT production and rework operations in Syracuse, NY. Candidates should have PCB assembly experience, SMT rework, hand soldering, and IPC Class 2/3 standards.

You will interpret engineering drawings, follow work instructions, and maintain a safe, organized work area while supporting front-end SMT tasks and component checkout. Competitive pay and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or associate degree in a related field.
• 5+ years PCB assembly experience preferred.
• Experience with IPC Class 2/3 soldering required.

Responsibilities

• Provide firstlevel support for PCA production, SMT assembly and rework tasks.
• Perform hand soldering and machine soldering for SMT secondary ops and PCA rework.
• Complete manual PCB assembly with high accuracy.
• Interpret blueprints, schematics, drawings and instruction sheets.
• Access production work instructions using computer systems.
• Support frontend SMT tasks including component ordering and setup.
• Adapt quickly to shifting priorities in a fastpaced SMT environment.
