Job summary

SRCTec, LLC is hiring a SMT Associate Electronics Hardware Technician (2nd Shift) to support our high-velocity SMT production and SMT rework operations in Syracuse, NY. The role emphasizes PCB assembly, hand soldering, and IPC Class 2/3 standards.

Responsibilities include PCA/SMT tasks, hand and machine soldering, referencing blueprints and instructions, and maintaining safety and quality in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or associate degree preferred.
• 5+ years of printed circuit board assembly experience.
• Experience with IPC Class 2/3 soldering required.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-level support for PCA/SMT assembly and SMT rework tasks.
• Perform hand soldering and machine soldering for SMT operations and PCA rework.
• Complete manual soldering and PCB assembly with high accuracy.
• Interpret engineering blueprints, schematics, and assembly instructions.
• Use production work instructions and procedures in computer systems.
• Support frontend SMT tasks including component ordering and setup.
• Adapt to shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain a clean, safe, compliant work area.
