Job summary

SRCTec, LLC is hiring a SMT Associate Electronics Hardware Technician (2nd Shift) to support our fast-paced SMT production and SMT rework operations in Syracuse, NY. The role demands hands-on PCB assembly, hand soldering, rework, and adherence to IPC Class 2/3 standards.

You will perform soldering, PCB assembly, and interpretation of blueprints, while following assembly instructions and using company work systems. A 2nd shift differential of 10% applies.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of PCB assembly experience preferred.
• IPC Class 2/3 soldering experience required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-level support for PCA assembly, SMT, and rework tasks.
• Perform hand soldering and machine soldering for SMT secondary operations and PCA rework.
• Complete manual soldering and PCB assembly with high accuracy.
• Interpret engineering blueprints, schematics, and detailed assembly instructions.
• Use computer systems to access production work instructions and procedures.
• Support front-end SMT tasks including component ordering, setup, de-kitting and verification.
• Adapt to shifting priorities in a fast-paced SMT production environment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-compliant work area.
