Job summary

NEOTech is seeking a Manufacturing SMT Operator in Chatsworth, CA to set up and run SMT equipment, including screen printers, pick-and-place machines, and reflow ovens. The role requires attention to ESD, MSL handling and IPC‑A‑610 standards, with a focus on accurate part numbering and process adherence.

Candidates should have a High School diploma or GED and up to 1 year of electronic assembly experience. The position offers hourly compensation and full-time, on-site work in a manufacturing

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of electronic experience preferred.
• Must be able to read process sheets and follow instructions.
• Familiarity with SMT equipment and IPC standards is a plus.
• Good eyesight and hand dexterity for repetitive tasks.
• Team player with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up SMT line equipment including screen printer, pick-and-place, and reflow oven.
• Load feeders and verify correct part numbers for each job.
• Initiate programs for SMT equipment and select proper stencil screens.
• Follow ESD, MSL, IPC-A-610 and ISO procedures and quality policies.
• Perform preventative maintenance on SMT equipment and clean boards as required.
• Adhere to 6S, safety and environmental guidelines and support ISO quality systems.
