Job summary

NEOTech in Longmont, CO is seeking an SMT Operator to load feeders, set up the screen printer, and program SMT pick-and-place machines and reflow ovens to assemble printed circuit boards.

You will follow ESD and IPC-610 standards, handle MSD/MSL, perform preventative maintenance, and ensure quality through process sheets and ISO procedures. Team-oriented, with good eyesight and basic computing skills, 6–12 months electronic experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience with electronic manufacturing systems (Epicor) is a plus.
• Must pass IPC-DVE-64C component identification.
• Must pass IPC-A-610 modules (1, 2, 4, 7, 8).
• Proficient with MS Office and basic computer use.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to ESD requirements and board handling.
• Follow MSD/MSL handling guidelines.
• Use process sheets to ensure correct build of product.
• Load feeders for SMT machines and verify part numbers.
• Initiate correct programs for SMT equipment and reflow oven profiles.
• Select appropriate stencil screens for screen printing operations.
• Comply with IPC, ISO, and company quality procedures.
• Perform preventive maintenance on screen printer and pick-and-place machines.
• Clean boards according to soldering chemistry.
• Support 6S and quality management systems.
