Job summary

NEOTech in Chatsworth, CA is hiring an SMT Technician to operate surface mount equipment and reflow solder onto boards. You will set up the SMT line, including screen printer, pick-and-place and reflow oven, and ensure correct programs and part numbers.

Requires a High School diploma and 6–12 months electronics experience; reading process sheets and IPC standards; must follow ESD rules. Training on OCuity and IPC-610 modules is provided, with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6–12 months electronic assembly experience preferred.
• Ability to read process sheets and IPC guidelines.
• Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to ESD requirements and board handling.
• Load feeders and verify correct part numbers for SMT jobs.
• Initiate programs for SMT equipment and set reflow profiles.
• Select proper stencil screens and follow IPC standards.
• Perform preventative maintenance on screen printer and pick-and-place.
• Follow ISO procedures and 6S objectives; support quality systems.
