Job summary

NEOTech in Longmont is seeking a 2nd shift SMT operator to assemble PCB components using surface mount technology. You will set up equipment, load feeders, verify parts, and ensure correct soldering profiles.

The role requires basic electronic experience, adherence to ESD/IPC standards, and collaboration with a team to meet production deadlines. A high school diploma is required and full-time hours on the 2nd shift.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 6–12 months electronic assembly experience preferred.
• Must follow ESD/IPC standards and ISO procedures.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up SMT line equipment including screen printer, pick-and-place, and reflow oven.
• Load feeders and verify correct part numbers.
• Initiate programs for SMT equipment and ensure correct reflow profile.
• Maintain 6S, quality systems, and process documentation.
• Perform preventive maintenance on SMT equipment.
• Adhere to MSD handling and ESD requirements.
