Job summary

NEOTech in Longmont, CO is seeking an SMT Technician to assemble and solder surface mount devices on a production line. You will set up screen printers, pick-and-place machines, and reflow ovens, ensuring precise adherence to process sheets and IPC standards.

Responsibilities include loading feeders, verifying part numbers, and executing the correct programs while maintaining ESD and MSL guidelines. A High School diploma or GED is required, with 6–12 months of electronic experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of electronic manufacturing experience preferred.
• Familiarity with SMT processes and IPC standards.
• Ability to read and follow process sheets and load lists.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to ESD requirements and board handling.
• Follow MSD requirements based on MSL.
• Use process sheets to ensure correct product build.
• Load feeders for SMT machines and verify part numbers.
• Initiate and select correct programs for SMT equipment.
• Maintain and clean screening and reflow equipment.
• Follow ISO and 6S procedures and policies.
• Perform preventative maintenance on SMT equipment.
