Job summary

NEOTech in Longmont, CO is seeking an SMT Technician to set up and operate surface mount equipment, load feeders, and verify correct parts for each job.

You will follow process sheets, ensure IPC-A-610 compliance, and maintain ESD controls while adhering to ISO procedures.

This full-time role requires a High School diploma and 6–12 months electronic assembly experience; benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and paid time off.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6–12 months electronic assembly experience preferred.
• Adhere to ESD, MSD handling and IPC standards.
• Good eyesight and manual dexterity; able to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to ESD requirements and MSD handling.
• Load feeders for SMT machines and verify part numbers.
• Set up screen printer, pick-and-place, and reflow equipment.
• Follow process sheets to ensure correct build of product.
• Maintain IPC-A-610 compliance and ISO procedures.
• Perform preventative maintenance on SMT equipment.
• Ensure proper cleaning and handling of boards.
