Job summary

NEOTech in Longmont, CO is seeking a full-time SMT Technician to set up and operate SMT line equipment, including screen printers, pick-and-place machines, and the reflow oven. You will ensure accurate part numbers, load feeders, and select appropriate programs.

The role requires attention to ESD and quality standards, with 6–12 months electronics experience preferred and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6–12 months electronic experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all ESD requirements and Board Handling.
• Follow MSD handling requirements based on MSL.
• Use process sheets to ensure correct build of product.
• Load feeders for surface mount machines using the provided load list.
• Verify correct part numbers for the job being run.
• Initiate and select correct programs for SMT equipment and correct reflow profile.
• Select proper stencil screen for screen printing operation.
• Comply with ESD, IPC-A-610, quality standards and ISO procedures.
• Perform preventative maintenance on SMT printers and pick-and-place machines.
• Operate stencil cleaning machine and clean boards as required.
