GE Aerospace is seeking a Safety Program Manager to lead the site’s Safety Management System, oversee risk management, incident investigations, and compliance activities across manufacturing operations. The role emphasizes cross-site collaboration, training, and continuous safety improvement.

You will drive performance metrics, ensure alignment with enterprise SMS standards, and mentor a team of professionals while coordinating with multiple GE Aerospace sites.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s Degree accredited college (or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years in manufacturing, quality, compliance, or SMS experience + a minimum of 5 years in manufacturing, quality, compliance, or SMS experience)
• Minimum of 5 years of manufacturing, quality, compliance, or SMS experience

Mansioni

• Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of the site’s Safety Management System (SMS) and ensure documentation is accurate and accessible
• Facilitate SRM: risk identification, analysis, and mitigation with SAT/SRBs
• Prepare and submit product safety performance reports to the responsible SMS delegates and boards
• Monitor site-level compliance with enterprise SMS policies and conduct regular product safety audits
• Support product safety risk management within change initiatives
• Provide SMS and Human Factors training to employees across the site
• Drive communication and collaboration across GE Aerospace sites to share lessons learned and improve safety performance
• Track and analyze product safety performance metrics and support customer and regulatory audits
• Implement FLIGHT DECK standards and standard work to unify cross-team operations
• Lead a small to medium team of senior professionals and influence strategic direction
