Job summary

GE Aerospace seeks a seasoned Safety and Compliance leader to oversee product safety, risk management, and SMS program delivery across sites. The role drives policy implementation, audits, and continuous improvement while coordinating with enterprise SMS teams and site leadership.

Travel up to 25% to Bromont, Hooksett, Rutland and other GE sites is required; in-person New Hire Orientation day 1 is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required, or 4+ years in manufacturing/quality/SMS with equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years in manufacturing, quality, compliance, or SMS.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% and work across multiple GE sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead Safety Management System implementation and maintenance aligned with enterprise SMS.
• Facilitate Safety Risk Management through SAT/SRB collaboration.
• Prepare and submit product safety performance reports as required.
• Monitor site compliance with SMS policies and conduct audits.
• Support Change Management within product safety workflows.
• Provide SMS and Human Factors training across the site.
• Drive cross-site communication and share lessons learned.
