Job summary

GE Aerospace is seeking a seasoned safety program leader to drive the Safety Management System implementation, risk assessment, and incident reporting across our sites. The role collaborates with the enterprise SMS team to uphold policy and continuous improvement in product safety.

The position requires coordinating with SAT/SRB, conducting audits, and guiding change management within safety programs. A strong background in manufacturing quality and leadership is essential for success.

Responsibilities

• Lead Safety Management System implementation and maintain SMS documentation.
• Facilitate risk identification, analysis, and mitigation with SAT/SRB.
• Prepare and submit product safety performance reports to relevant bodies.
• Monitor site-level compliance with enterprise SMS policies and conduct audits.
• Support change management initiatives within product safety risk management.
• Provide SMS and Human Factors training across the site.
• Drive product safety performance improvements and share lessons across sites.
• Track safety performance metrics and support audits by customers and regulators.
