Job summary

GE Aerospace seeks a Senior Product Safety Manager to lead the Safety Management System (SMS) across manufacturing sites. You will drive policy development, risk management, incident reporting, and continuous improvement to meet safety and quality objectives.

The role requires strong communication and leadership, with experience in program management and change implementation within a manufacturing environment. Remote eligibility with Northeast preference and ~25% travel are included.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required or equivalent 4 years in manufacturing with SMS experience.
• Minimum of 5 years in manufacturing, quality, compliance, or SMS.
• Experience leading safety programs and change management.

Responsibilities

• Lead SMS development, implementation, and maintenance at the site.
• Facilitate SRM with SAT/SRB.
• Prepare product safety performance reports for SMS stakeholders.
• Monitor site compliance with SMS policies and conduct audits.
• Support Change Management within SMS programs.
• Promote safety awareness and continuous improvement across the site.
• Coordinate with other GE sites to share lessons learned and address systemic issues.
• Track safety performance and support audits and investigations.
• Implement FLIGHT DECK standards and standard work where applicable.
