GE Aerospace is seeking a Safety Program Lead to drive the Safety Management System across our site in the United States. You will ensure policy alignment, develop and maintain SMS documentation, and lead risk management activities to protect product safety.

The role requires collaboration with the SAT/SRB, conducting audits, and promoting continuous improvement. In-person New Hire Orientation on Day 1 is required, with up to 25% travel to GE locations.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s Degree accredited college (or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years in manufacturing, quality, compliance, or SMS experience + a minimum of 5 years in manufacturing, quality, compliance, or SMS experience)
• Minimum of 5 years of manufacturing, quality, compliance, or SMS experience
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems
• Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects
• Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs

Mansioni

• Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of the site’s SMS in alignment with enterprise SMS team and industry best practices
• Facilitate risk identification, analysis, and mitigation through collaboration with SAT/SRB
• Prepare and submit product safety performance reports to the SMS Delegate, safety review boards and enterprise SMS team
• Monitor site-level compliance with enterprise SMS policies and conduct regular product safety audits and inspections
• Support product Safety Risk Management within change management initiatives
• Provide SMS and Human Factors training to employees across the site
• Facilitate distribution of product safety information and collaborate with other sites to share lessons learned
• Track and analyze product safety performance metrics and drive continuous improvement
• Implement FLIGHT DECK standards across teams to enable performance
• Manage a small to medium team of senior professionals and influence strategy for the area
• Attend New Hire Orientation on Day 1 in-person
