Job summary

Amazon Shipping is hiring a Sr. Business Developer to drive SMB growth and retention for unmanaged/SMB shipping. You will own growth, design tiered benefits, and build scalable enablement for thousands of merchants across the U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (required).
• 5+ years of professional or military experience.
• 5+ years of customer growth, lifecycle/retention marketing, account management at scale, or business development experience with a track record of measurable revenue outcomes.
• Experience designing and running customer programs (benefits, loyalty, enablement, or retention) with data-driven measurement.
• Strong verbal and written communication with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and thrive in ambiguity.

Responsibilities

• Own settled-base growth by segmenting the shipper base, identifying expansion opportunities, and building lifecycle programs.
• Design and launch a tiered benefits program to reward consistent shipping and deepen loyalty.
• Create a scalable enablement engine (webinars, content, best practices) to onboard thousands of merchants.
• Own retention with proactive and reactive save motions with automation/AI at scale, and manage attrition metrics.
• Own the voice of the shipper (VOS) by collecting feedback and translating signals into Product/Tech/Operations improvements.
• Define growth metrics and OKRs, track ROI and iterate to maximize revenue and retention.
• Work backwards from shipper needs and align BD with product strategy for scalable results.
• Think big and innovate with programs and automation that scale to thousands of SMBs.
