Amazon Shipping is a fast-growing startup within Amazon building the next generation of logistics services for external brands and merchants. We are seeking entrepreneurial Business Development leaders to grow our SMB customer base at scale.

As a Sr. Business Developer on the Unmanaged/SMB team, you will own the growth engine for our existing shipper base—designing benefits, enablement, and lifecycle programs that drive incremental revenue and retention without one-to-one account management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5+ years of professional or military experience.
• 5+ years of customer growth, lifecycle/retention marketing, account management at scale, or business development experience with measurable revenue outcomes.
• Experience designing and running customer programs (benefits, loyalty, enablement, or retention) with data-driven measurement.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and thrive in ambiguity.

Responsibilities

• Own settled-base growth by segmenting the existing shipper base and identifying expansion opportunities to increase shipping volume per shipper.
• Design and launch a tiered benefits program that rewards consistent shipping and deepens loyalty over time.
• Develop a scalable enablement engine—webinars, content, and best-practice resources—to drive adoption and revenue at scale.
• Build retention mechanisms with early-warning signals and proactive/ reactive save motions using automation/AI with ROI.
• Capture shipper feedback and translate signals into prioritized Product, Tech, and Operations improvements.
• Define growth metrics and OKRs, tracking incremental revenue, retention, engagement, and program performance.
