Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduation from a standard high school or equivalent.
• One year of full-time or equivalent part-time paid experience as an emergency telecommunicator or equivalent in an electronic traffic management center environment.
• OR one year of experience in radio communications/dispatching, customer service work, information system help desk work, or telemarketing.
• Travel may be required; therefore, a valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Operate traffic systems control to minimize congestion and manage incidents.
• Work with intelligent traffic fusion center workstations and communications equipment.
• Support incident scenes and call-backs during emergencies as needed.
• Perform related clerical and technical duties as required.
