Qualifications

• Graduation from a standard high school or equivalent.
• Four (4) years full‑time or equivalent part‑time paid experience as an emergency telecommunicator, or equivalent experience in an electronic management center.
• Travel may be required; therefore, a valid driver’s license is required.
• Promotional Only: Four (4) years as a Transportation Intelligent Fusion Center Operator may substitute for the required experience.

Responsabilités

• Lead, coordinate and train TMC Operators.
• Oversee traffic systems control, incident and congestion management, and communications.
• Perform clerical and technical tasks and related duties.
• May be required to work rotating shifts and be on-call during emergencies.
• Read, understand and interpret office procedures and regulations.
• Operate state-of-the-art traffic management workstations.
