Job summary

ADT Security Services is seeking a field installation and service technician to install, program, configure, and service security and site automation solutions at customer sites. Responsibilities include testing system signals, ensuring proper operation, and educating customers on usage and potential enhancements.

The role requires driving to customer locations, meeting time commitments, and maintaining safety, quality, and service standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to understand and apply codes, rules, standards and requirements to meet specifications.
• Ability to work independently at multiple customer sites daily.
• Demonstrates mechanical and technical aptitude.
• Ability to interpret location maps, blueprints and schematic drawings.

Responsibilities

• Drive customer loyalty by exceeding expectations during installation/service.
• Arrive within estimated time of arrival and meet commitments.
• Install, program, configure, dismantle, and repair security/site automation systems.
• Follow procedures for wired/wireless installations and connections.
• Test signals and verify communication with central monitoring.
• Explain operation of services to customers and offer enhancements.
• Identify opportunities for additional security/site automation solutions.
