Job summary

ADT Security Services is seeking a Field Operations Technician to install and service advanced low-voltage security systems for home and business customers.

You will perform site assessments, test configurations, and ensure reliable operation while communicating clearly with customers and maintaining safety standards. This role requires hands-on work in customers' homes and businesses, with emphasis on quality workmanship and problem solving.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency with computer hardware, software, and network diagnostics.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Install low-voltage wiring and mount devices according to site layouts and routing plans.
• Perform site assessments, system testing, and verify connections including monitoring center communication.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and flag defective materials or job inaccuracies that affect service quality.
• Educate customers on system features, usage, and basic troubleshooting.
• Maintain a safe, clean workspace and follow all safety protocols.
