NRG Energy's Vivint Smart Home team is hiring a Field Service Professional to install and service smart home security, thermostat and automation systems. You will build trusted customer relationships, diagnose issues and deliver safe, connected homes while working independently with a supportive team.

You’ll identify customer needs, recommend upgrades, and earn through uncapped commissions. The role requires a valid license, clean driving record, and ability to pass background checks and

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Must pass background check and pre-employment drug test.

Responsibilities

• Install and service smart home security, thermostat and automation systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
• Educate customers on product features and functionality.
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience at every appointment.
• Conduct onsite evaluations to recommend and sell equipment upgrades or service enhancements.
• Maintain quality, safety and installation standards.
• Manage daily appointments, work orders and equipment.
• Identify service recommendations and referral opportunities when appropriate.
