Job summary

Vivint Smart Home, an NRG owned company, is hiring Field Service Technicians to install and support smart home technology while identifying upgrade opportunities. You will be the face of the company, delivering great service and meaningful solutions.

You will install, service, and train customers on security cameras, smart locks, and home automation, with a focus on consultative sales and customer education. This role offers a path to growth within a national organization.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to sell solutions while delivering great service.
• Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with customers.
• Comfort with learning and using smart home tech and installations.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record and ability to pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and troubleshoot security cameras, smart locks, and home automation systems on-site.
• Perform consultative sales by evaluating homes and recommending upgrades or service enhancements.
• Educate customers on how to use their system to maximize protection and value.
• Pursue growth through coaching and leadership development within the national organization.
