NRG Energy’s Vivint Smart Home team is hiring a Field Service Professional. You will install, service and support cutting-edge smart home technology, building trusted customer relationships and delivering peace of mind.

You’ll diagnose issues, perform installations and identify opportunities for upgrades, earning through uncapped commissions. The role follows a four-day, 10-hour schedule with paid training and licensed support, plus comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Pass background check and pre-employment drug test.
• Pass licensing requirements under applicable law.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn and use technology.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Install and service smart home security, thermostat and automation systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
• Educate customers on product features and functionality.
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience at each appointment.
• Conduct onsite evaluations to recommend upgrades or enhancements.
• Maintain safety and installation standards.
• Manage daily appointments and work orders.
• Identify service recommendations and referral opportunities.
