Job summary

Vivint Smart Home, an NRG owned company, seeks a Field Service Technician to install and service smart home devices at customer homes. You will evaluate homes, recommend upgrades, and train customers on usage to ensure security and convenience.

The role blends technical work with consultative sales, backed by comprehensive training, performance incentives, and a company vehicle. A driver’s license and clean driving record are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or service-based sales is advantageous.
• Ability to build rapport and trust with diverse customers.
• Experience with installation or service roles is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and troubleshoot smart home devices at customer homes.
• Assess homes, recommend and upsell equipment upgrades on-site.
• Educate customers on system use to maximize peace of mind.
• Participate in coaching and development within a national organization.
