Job summary

Vivint Smart Home, an NRG owned company, is seeking a Field Service Professional to install, service, and support smart home technology. You will build trusted relationships with customers, diagnose issues, perform installations, and provide solutions that deliver peace of mind.

You’ll work independently in the field with a supportive team, earning via hourly pay plus uncapped commission. The role includes scheduling, licensing requirements, and ongoing licensing support.”

Qualifications

• Must have exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Must be able to pass background investigation and pre-employment drug test.
• Must be able to pass licensing requirements under applicable law.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team.
• Willingness to learn and use technology.

Responsibilities

• Install and service smart home security, thermostat and automation systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
• Educate customers on product features and functionality.
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience at every appointment.
• Identify upgrade or service opportunities and generate additional earnings through uncapped commissions.
