Job summary

Vivint Smart Home, an NRG owned company, is seeking a Field Service Professional in Sikeston, MO. You will install, service, and support leading smart home technology, building trusted customer relationships and delivering safety and convenience.

You will diagnose issues, educate customers, and work independently while staying connected to a supportive team. The role offers a four-day, 10-hour schedule with paid drive time, licensing assistance, and uncapped commission opportunities.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a background investigation and pre-employment drug test.
• Ability to pass licensing requirements under applicable law.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to act with integrity while building rapport with diverse customers.
• Willingness to learn and use technology.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Install and service smart home security, thermostat and automation systems, including cameras and smart locks.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
• Educate customers on product features and functionality.
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience at every appointment.
• Conduct onsite evaluations to recommend and sell equipment upgrades or service enhancements.
• Maintain quality, safety and installation standards.
• Manage daily appointments, work orders and equipment.
• Identify service recommendations and referral opportunities when appropriate.
