Job summary

Vivint Smart Home, an NRG owned company, seeks Field Service Technician/Professional to install cutting-edge smart home technology and protect customers' peace of mind. You will be the face of Vivint, combining technical expertise with on-site sales to upgrade solutions.

The role includes driving customer education, performing installations, and benefiting from comprehensive training, a take-home vehicle, and 4/10 scheduling.

Qualifications

• A Sales Mindset: Experience in retail, B2C sales, insurance, or service-based sales is a major plus.
• Customer First Attitude: Ability to act with integrity while building rapport with diverse customers.
• Technical Aptitude: Experience in cable/satellite install, pest control, construction, or solar is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Installing, servicing, and troubleshooting security cameras, smart locks, and home automation systems.
• Consultative Sales: Evaluating customer homes to recommend and sell equipment upgrades or service enhancements on-site.
• Customer Education: Training homeowners on how to use their new system to protect their families.
