Vivint Smart Home, an NRG owned company, is hiring Field Service Technicians to install smart home technology and proactively identify and sell upgraded solutions, while connecting customers to total peace of mind.

The role blends technical installation with consultative sales, offering a take-home company vehicle, on-site work, and ongoing coaching as part of a national team. Salary includes base pay plus uncapped commission and incentives.

Qualifications

• A Sales Mindset: Experience in retail, business-to-consumer (B2C) sales, insurance, or service-based sales is a strong advantage.
• Customer-First Attitude: Ability to act with integrity while building rapport and trust with diverse customers.
• Technical Aptitude: Experience in cable or satellite installation, pest control, construction, or solar industries is helpful but not required.
• Requirements: A valid driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record. Ability to pass post-offer background screening and licensing requirements.

Responsabilités

• Installing, servicing, and troubleshooting security cameras, smart locks, and home automation systems.
• Consultative Sales: Evaluating customer homes to recommend and sell equipment upgrades or service enhancements on-site.
• Customer Education: Training homeowners on how to use their new system to help protect their families.
• Growth: Benefiting from consistent coaching and leadership training to advance within our national organization.
