Siemens is offering a Building Automation Systems Project Management Internship in the Miami area (Miramar, FL) for rising sophomores or juniors. The 10‑week, full‑time program emphasizes hands‑on learning in smart buildings and sustainable infrastructure.

You will rotate through multiple departments, with 80% devoted to project management tasks, 10% with sales, and 10% in service. Candidates must be undergraduates and eligible to work in the U.S. for the summer.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled undergraduate (rising sophomore or junior) at a U.S. college.
• Pursuing Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Energy/Sustainability and Built Environment.
• Ability to work 40 hours per week for the 10‑week program (May – July or June – August).
• There is no relocation or housing stipend for this program.
• This program does not support students on a Visa such as F1, J1, M1 and H1B as well as OPT/CPT.

Responsibilities

• Review project specifications, drawings, and project‑specific documents to establish a project delivery plan.
• Develop and maintain a project schedule, coordinating needs with the project team and identifying time‑sensitive installation needs.
• Manage the procurement of supplies and materials to complete projects.
• Participate in project cost reviews.
• Track labor resources and project progress.
• Rotate through other departments within the branch office to learn how the organization operates.
