Job summary

Siemens is seeking a Building Automation Systems Project Management Intern for Summer 2027 in the Raleigh area. The role offers hands-on experience rotating through departments focused on smart buildings and sustainable infrastructure.

You will spend ~80% on project management activities, ~10% with the sales team, and ~10% in service. Eligible undergraduates must be pursuing related engineering or sustainability fields and be available for the full 10 weeks.

Qualifications

• Must be current enrollment as an undergraduate at an accredited 4-year U.S. college or university.
• Pursuing a degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Energy/Sustainability and Built Environment.
• Ability to work 40-hours per week for the 10-week program (May - July or June - August).
• There is no relocation or housing stipend for this program.
• Must have own reliable personal transportation to travel directly to the project site. Mileage will be reimbursed.
• This program does not support students on a Visa such as F1, J1, M1 and H1B as well as OPT/CPT.

Responsibilities

• Review project specifications, drawings, and project-specific documents to establish a project delivery plan.
• Develop and maintain a project schedule, as well as coordinate needs with the project team, identifying time-sensitive installation needs.
• Manage the procurement of supplies and materials to complete projects.
• Participate in project cost reviews.
• Track labor resources and project progress.
• Pursue project-specific change-order opportunities.
• Complete project-specific close-out documentation.
• Rotate through other departments within the branch office to learn about how our branch organization operates as a whole.
