Job summary

Siemens Mobility is seeking a Building Automation Systems Project Management Intern for Summer 2027 in Houston, Texas. This 10-week undergraduate internship offers rotation through Smart Buildings and Sustainable Infrastructure, with 80% PM work, 10% sales exposure, and 10% service tasks.

You will assist in scheduling, procurement, cost reviews, and close-out documentation while exploring HVAC, Fire/Life Safety, Security, and Energy/Sustainability segments.

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled as an undergraduate at a 4-year U.S. college or university.
• Pursuing a degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Energy/Sustainability and Built Environment.
• Ability to work 40 hours per week for the 10-week program (May–July or June–August).
• No relocation or housing stipend provided.
• Intern must have personal vehicle for travel to customer sites; mileage reimbursed.
• Visa/OPT/CPT not supported.

Responsibilities

• Review project specifications, drawings, and documents to establish a project delivery plan.
• Develop and maintain a project schedule and coordinate with the project team.
• Procure supplies and materials to complete projects.
• Participate in project cost reviews.
• Track labor resources and project progress.
• Pursue project-specific change-order opportunities.
• Complete project close-out documentation.
• Rotate through other departments to learn the branch organization.
