Job summary

Siemens offers a Building Automation Systems Project Management Internship in the Raleigh area for rising juniors or seniors. The 10-week program runs Summer 2027 with full-time hours (40 hours/week) and rotation through multiple departments to gain hands-on project management experience in smart building environments.

You will work alongside experienced project managers, learning scheduling, procurement, cost reviews, and close-out tasks within a Building Automation Systems context.

Qualifications

• Must be current enrollment as an undergraduate at a 4-year U.S. college or university.
• Pursuing a degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Energy/Sustainability and Built Environment.
• Ability to work 40 hours per week for the 10-week program (May – July or June – August).
• No relocation or housing stipend; own reliable transportation to project site.

Responsibilities

• Review project specifications, drawings, and project documents to establish a project delivery plan.
• Develop and maintain a project schedule; coordinate with the project team.
• Manage procurement of supplies and materials to complete projects.
• Participate in project cost reviews and track labor resources.
• Pursue project-specific change-order opportunities and close-out documentation.
