Siemens Mobility offers a Building Automation Systems Specialist Internship in the Detroit/Plymouth, MI area. This fixed-term, full-time program targets students enrolled in HVAC Controls, Building Automation, or related engineering tech fields and provides hands-on experience on real projects.

You’ll split time between field installations, system programming, and on-site support, with opportunities to interact with sales and project teams for a well-rounded skills development experience.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Students currently enrolled in or recently completed a 2-year Technical College/School pursuing a degree in HVAC Controls, Building Automation, Mechanical Engineering / Technology, Electrical Engineering / Technology, Energy/Sustainability and Built Environment or related program.

Responsabilités

• 80% Field Technician Experience: on job sites with Siemens technicians installing, programming and servicing HVAC/building automation systems.
• 10% Sales Exposure: learn how Siemens brings smart building solutions to life with customers and design solutions.
• 10% Project & Service Operations: rotate through service and project delivery teams.
• Visit customer sites and troubleshoot HVAC, Building Automation, and electronic control systems.
• Collaborate with engineering and project management to resolve discrepancies in system drawings.
• Provide basic training to customers and document service activities.
