Job summary

Johnson Controls Commercial Sales Executive is responsible for promoting and selling Johnson Controls Security services and technology within an assigned territory, using relationships to close new business and retain customers. This role requires knowledge of the product line and the ability to drive profitable sales while expanding market share.

Key duties include calling on local commercial accounts, renewing existing agreements, and following up post-installation to ensure satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Required high school degree or equivalent.
• Excellent oral, written and presentation skills with the ability to present to senior level executives within the customer and Johnson Controls Security organizations.
• Available for local travel and able to work a full-time schedule.

Responsibilities

• Promote and sell Johnson Controls Security products and services within an assigned territory.
• Secure profitable sales and upgrades to Johnson Controls Security Commercial customers while improving satisfaction and retention.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of products/services and customer needs through training and research.
• Follow up with prospects and renew existing customer agreements.
