Job summary

Siemens Mobility seeks a Building Automation Systems Project Management Intern for Summer 2027 in Fairbanks, Alaska. The program rotates across departments, focusing on smart buildings and sustainable infrastructure, with a heavy emphasis on project management.

You will gain hands-on experience, develop professional skills, and work with the project, sales, and service teams to understand end-to-end building solutions.

Qualifications

• Must be an undergraduate enrolled at a 4-year U.S. college or university.
• Pursuing a degree in Construction Management, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Energy/Sustainability or Built Environment.
• Able to work 40 hours per week for 10 weeks (May–July or June–August).
• No relocation or housing stipend; must have own transport; visa restrictions apply.

Responsibilities

• Review project specs and documents to establish a project delivery plan.
• Develop and maintain a project schedule and coordinate with the team.
• Procure supplies and materials for projects.
• Participate in project cost reviews.
• Track labor resources and project progress.
• Pursue change-order opportunities; close-out documentation.
• Rotate through other departments to learn branch operations.
