Job summary

City National Bank of Florida is seeking a proactive Small Business Banker II to serve small businesses with revenues up to $5 million. You will service, promote, and sell banking products, grow deposits and fee income, and maintain client relationships while meeting sales goals.

You’ll work with the Market Manager on reporting, assist with loan processes, cross-train in cash handling, and provide solutions across services to maximize profitability for the bank and clients.

Qualifications

• 5–7 of recent banking experience as a Small Business Banker II or higher.
• Solid credit experience, including loan structuring and credit analysis.
• Demonstrated success in acquiring and growing small business relationships.
• Ability to complete independent pre-screens and cash flow analysis.
• Collaborative, proactive, and goal-oriented mindset.
• Excellent communication and relationship management skills.

Responsibilities

• Consistently meets and exceeds sales goals across deposits and loans.
• Develops and maintains a prospect list; participates in outside sales and cold calling.
• Acts as the face of the Bank in the community and provides leadership when available.
• Grow profitability of the small business client base by developing relationships.
• Prospects and acquires new priority small businesses.
• Retains and deepens existing relationships.
• Interacts with Lending staff to support credit decisions and loan closings.
• Adhere to compliance and regulatory training.
