Job summary

City National Bank of Florida seeks a results-driven Small Business Banker to build lasting relationships with businesses up to $5 million in revenue. You’ll deliver deposits, loans, and treasury solutions while representing the bank in the community.

You’ll grow a portfolio of 250+ clients, proactively acquire new relationships, and collaborate with Lending, Treasury, Mortgage, and Wealth Management to offer holistic services. Expect a collaborative, compliant, client-focused environment.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience as a Small Business Banker or similar role.
• Solid credit background with ability to structure loans and analyze credit.
• Proven success in acquiring and growing small business relationships.
• Ability to complete independent pre-screens and cash flow analyses.

Responsibilities

• Grow and manage a portfolio of 250+ small business clients.
• Acquire new relationships through prospecting, networking, and outreach.
• Deliver tailored financial advice with deposits, lending, and treasury solutions.
• Collaborate with Lending, Treasury, Mortgage, and Wealth Management for holistic services.
• Support branch operations including account opening, teller transactions, and loan support.
• Serve as a community ambassador and leader for the bank’s small business efforts.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, policy, and procedural standards.
• Meet or exceed sales and referral goals for deposits, loans, and services.
• Perform financial reviews and loan pre-screens; complete cash flow analyses.
• Assist with loan applications and closings; gather required docs.
• Maintain operational integrity through balancing, ticketing, and risk controls.
• Adhere to SAFÉ Act training requirements.
