Job summary

Adoration Health is seeking a Home Health Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Jeffersonville, IN. This PRN role covers up to 10 visits per week, delivering patient-centered, one-on-one care in the Clark County area, with flexible scheduling and a supportive team environment.

The SLP will assess, treat, and educate patients, families, and staff, while ensuring documentation compliance and ongoing progress toward communication goals. A Master’s in SLP and current state licensure are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology from a college or university with accredited Speech Language Pathology program
• A minimum of one (1) year’s work experience as a Speech Language Pathologist
• Current, unrestricted license as an Speech Language Pathologist by state in which practicing
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) or CPR certification in accordance state regulations

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients to determine speech or language therapy needs and therapy continuation
• Educate patients on sound production and voice improvement techniques
• Teach alternative communication methods, such as sign language, for patients with limited speech
• Guide and educate healthcare team members and caregivers in therapeutic exercises for progress
• Document progress and clinical notes per agency policy

Responsibilities

As a Home Health Speech Language Pathologist , You will:

• Communicate with patients to evaluate their levels of speech or language difficulty, determining the need for continued therapy services
• Teach patients how to make sounds and improve their voices
• Teach alternative communication methods, such as sign language, to patients with little or no speech capability
• Educate and guide healthcare team members, patients, and caregivers in specific aspects of therapeutic exercises to support continued progress outside of direct therapy sessions
• Document appropriate progress and clinical notes noting patient's response to therapy and submit visit documentation per Agency policy

Qualifications

• Minimum of Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology from a college or university with accredited Speech Language Pathology program
• A minimum of one (1) year’s work experience as a Speech Language Pathologist
• Current, unrestricted license as an Speech Language Pathologist by state in which practicing
