Adoration Health, an affiliate of BrightSpring Health Services, is seeking a Home Health Speech Language Pathologist to provide 1:1 patient-centered therapy in Columbus, GA. The PRN schedule offers flexibility with weekly visits and independent work, backed by team support and a stable, growing organization.

The role requires a Master's in Speech Language Pathology, an active state license, and BLS/CPR certification.

Qualifikationen

• Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as an Speech Language Pathologist.
• Current, unrestricted license as an Speech Language Pathologist by state in which practicing.
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) or CPR certification in accordance state regulations.

Aufgaben

• Communicate with patients to evaluate their speech or language difficulties and determine therapy needs.
• Teach patients how to make sounds and improve their voices.
• Teach alternative communication methods, such as sign language, when needed.
• Educate healthcare team, patients, and caregivers on therapeutic exercises to support progress outside sessions.
• Document progress and submit visit documentation per agency policy.

Responsibilities

As a Home Health Speech Language Pathologist, You will:

• Communicate with patients to evaluate their levels of speech or language difficulty, determining the need for continued therapy services
• Teach patients how to make sounds and improve their voices
• Teach alternative communication methods, such as sign language, to patients with little or no speech capability
• Educate and guide healthcare team members, patients, and caregivers in specific aspects of therapeutic exercises to support continued progress outside of direct therapy sessions
• Document appropriate progress and clinical notes noting patient's response to therapy and submit visit documentation per Agency policy

Qualifications

• Minimum of Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology from a college or university with accredited Speech Language Pathology program
• A minimum of one (1) year’s work experience as a Speech Language Pathologist
• Current, unrestricted license as an Speech Language Pathologist by state in which practicing
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) or CPR certification in accordance state regulations
